Meet Olly! Your online notifications go in, and smells come out. Say what?! Let them explain:

Olly takes services on the internet and delivers their pings as smell. Whether it’s tweets, a like on Instragram, or just your train running late, Olly will be sure to let your nose know about it.

You can fill Olly with any smell you like, and the lil guy is also stackable — meaning you can have different smells for different notifications. Bacon to wake up with? Your best friends cologne to remind you when it’s time for that dinner date? Buttered popcorn for new movie notifications? So many ideas! And with the ability for services to be added by any developer with an inkling, the possibilities seem truly endless.

“The main structure is a dome of 10 Japanese cherry trees, which are planted around a temporary tower that acts as a guide. Once the bent trees touch the tower, they will be redirected into an hourglass shape, the top of which will become a second level for reading and lounging and accessed by stairs of branches. The architects even devised furniture made from greenery, including a chair that seems to have organically sprung from the ground but is actually a cardboard form covered in soil and draped in grass.”
